The Story Behind RxFirst
Every day in clinics, doctors spend hours hand-writing the same medicine names, dosages, and instructions onto printed letterheads.
To solve this, many doctors hire local software companies to build custom desktop programs tailored to their clinic. While these custom setups keep data local and safe, they come with their own hurdles: they require ongoing technical support, stay locked to a single clinic computer, and are difficult to modify when your clinical requirements change.
We built RxFirst to offer a simpler alternative. It gives you the privacy and data ownership of a local desktop tool, but with the ease of a modern web page. There is no software to install or maintain. As clinical needs evolve, the platform updates smoothly in the background. Best of all, you carry your own data: download your single Excel backup, open RxFirst on any computer, upload the file, and continue your work without missing a beat.
How It Works
Runs in Your Browser, Works Offline
RxFirst runs right inside your web browser. You can write, format, and print prescriptions even during an internet or power cut.
Encrypted on Your Device
Your patient names, medicine list, clinic branding, and digital signatures are encrypted and saved directly in your browser’s local storage. We never store your clinical data on our servers.
Carry Your Own Data
Your medicine stock and exact printer margin settings export into a standard Excel file. Move between clinic and home laptops simply by carrying your backup.
Fast Printing & PDF Generation
Calibrate prescriptions to match your physical stationery, generate PDFs, or share them directly with patients over WhatsApp.
